OpenSearch: 2. Find the OpenSearch service store

This documentation is part of the Automate with the CLI guide. You can view the complete guide here: Start OpenSearch, retrieve its credentials, and modify its configuration programmatically using the Stackhero CLI.

👋 Welcome to the Stackhero documentation!

Stackhero offers a ready-to-use OpenSearch cloud solution with a range of benefits, including:

  • Optimal performance and enhanced security on a private, dedicated VM.
  • Custom domain name support, secured by default with HTTPS encryption.
  • Integrated OpenSearch Dashboards for seamless data visualization.

Save time and make your life easier: it only takes 5 minutes to try out Stackhero's OpenSearch cloud hosting solution!

Next, you will want to list the OpenSearch service stores available to your account. The CLI accepts the store name (opensearch) directly, so there is no need to look up or copy any IDs.

# List OpenSearch service stores (add --organization if you manage more than one)
stackhero services-store-list --name="opensearch"

You can use the store name opensearch in subsequent commands, or select a specific svs-xxxxxx ID from the list if you prefer.
