Graylog is available in two versions: the open source edition and the Enterprise edition.

You can find a comparison between the open source and Enterprise editions here: https://graylog.org/pricing/.

By default, you will have the open source edition on Stackhero. You can add an Enterprise licence at any time by simply following the instructions below.

You can obtain an Enterprise licence directly from Graylog here: https://graylog.org/products/enterprise/.

If your traffic is below 5GB/day, you can get a free Graylog Enterprise licence here: https://graylog.org/pricing/.

Please note that we are not affiliated with Graylog and do not provide support for their Enterprise licence.

When requesting an Enterprise licence, the Graylog website will ask for your cluster ID. To find it, log in to your Graylog admin panel, go to "Enterprise", then "License", and locate the cluster ID in the "Installed licenses" section.

Bear in mind that you must first activate the "Graylog Enterprise" plugin in the Stackhero dashboard (see instructions below).

To activate the Enterprise plugin, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Stackhero dashboard and select your Graylog service.
  2. Click on the "Configure" button.
  3. In the list of plugins, activate the "Graylog Enterprise" plugin and confirm the configuration.

Once the plugin is activated, the "Enterprise" link will appear in your Graylog admin panel.

To add an Enterprise licence:

  1. Open your Graylog admin panel and click on "Enterprise".
  2. Select "License" and then "Import new license".

If you do not see the "Enterprise" section in the menu, it is likely that the Graylog Enterprise plugin has not been activated. Please refer to the instructions above to activate it.
