Python's basic data types include integers (whole numbers), floating-point numbers (numbers with decimals), booleans (true/false values), and strings (sequences of characters):

  • int: Integer, e.g. 42
  • float: Floating-point number, e.g. 3.14
  • bool: Boolean, e.g. True or False
  • str: String, e.g. "hello"

Example:

integer = 42
floating_point = 3.14
boolean = True
string = "Hello, World!"
